Vera
Beths
has
performed
extensively
through out
Europe,
United
States
of
America,
Canada,
Australia,
Japan
and
Korea.
After
winning
First
Prize
in
the
Oskar
Back
competition,
Vera
Beths became
a
wellknown
soloist
and
worked
with
conductors
as
Bernard
Haitink,
Kyrill
Kondrashin,
Lorin
Maazel,
Frans
Brueggen
of
The
Orchestra
of
The
18th
Century
and
many
others.
Her
repertoire
includes
first permormances
of
many
violin concertos,
for
example
the
Third
violin concerto
by
Isang
Yun.
As
a
chamber music player
Vera
Beths
founded
together
with
cellist
Anner
Bijlsma
and
violist
Juergen
Kussmaul,
the
succesful
chamber music group
L’Archibudelli.
On
guts
strings
and
with
period
bows
they
recorded
exciting
performances
from
the
classical
repertoire
(Sony
‐
Vivarte
Series)
that
have
been
awarded
several
Diapason
D’Ors
and
an
Edison.
Vera
Beths
is
Professor
at
the
Royal
Conservatory
in
Hague
and
at
the
Sweelinck
Academy
in
Amsterdam.
She
is
a
member
of
the
famous
Malboro
Festival
in
Vermont
(USA).
She
plays
a
Stradivarius
from
the
year
1727.
